Fuel cell technology offers a clean and affordable energy alternative that is sustainable and environmentally friendly. A fuel cell converts a source fuel into an electric current. It requires only hydrogen and oxygen to operate.
A reaction between a fuel and an oxidant is at the heart of fuel cell power. The reactants flow into the cell, and the reaction products flow out of it. Another beneficial property of fuel cells is their ability to operate continuously. Plus, they can create electricity with very little resultant pollution—usually just water as a by-product. This makes them an integral part of green living.
